PortaTempo is here — our first release, and it’s built to solve one very specific problem: changing tempo live, without ever taking your hands off your gear.

If you’ve ever had to lean over mid-set to nudge a tempo knob, or missed a cue because both hands were already full, PortaTempo is for you. It’s a performance clock, tempo ramp tool, and setlist manager, built around Ableton Link so your tempo stays locked with every other Link-enabled app and device in the room — DAWs, other apps, sequencers, even Link-enabled Eurorack and hardware.

**Change tempo without touching a knob**
Set a target BPM and ramp there smoothly — linear, exponential, or logarithmic — or cut instantly when the moment calls for it. Set the ramp duration in seconds, beats, or bars, and PortaTempo handles the rest while you stay on your instrument.

**Build a set, not just a tempo**
Save your go-to tempos as Favorites, or start from 16 built-in presets spanning Ambient to Speedcore (20–300 BPM). Build a full setlist with a target tempo for every song and let PortaTempo advance and ramp automatically as you move through the set — complete with a customizable advance notification so you’re never caught off guard. Loop a setlist and you get a rhythmic tempo sway for free.

**Make it yours**
Customize the colors for current tempo, target tempo, and highlights to match your rig. Then fine-tune the ramp glow effect — radius, intensity, pulse speed, movement, and fade timing, with five animation styles — or hit randomize if you just want to see what happens.
